Laure Prouvost : melting into one another ho hot chaud it heating dip

"Melting into one another ho hot chaud it heating dip", the artist’s book, is a result of the project that Laure Prouvost developed for Kunsthalle Lissabon in 2020, and functions as a translation of the exhibition into an editorial format.

It is designed by Márcia Novais, a Portuguese designer, and is printed with squid ink.

Melting into one another ho hot chaud it heating dip

Step by step, slithering down, you come to a dark, underground and underwater space filled with hanging curtain – gills, squid ink and glass tentacles. The constant flow of water slowly dripping down from above leads you into the liquid reality of the dwelling of the mother octopus. She is a smoker, you know?. It smells of biology, the origin of the world and of ourselves. It smells of her. (bron: website uitgever)
