As early as 1965, with his Minus Objects Michelangelo Pistoletto theorized the fragility of a consumeristic identity reduced to a brand. Twisted works, inherently and formally distant, demanded different creative paths, devoid of any classification or framing. A “collective” exhibition by a single artist: a plurality of accents for a single voice.

Michelangelo Pistoletto’s extraordinary artistic investigation explores the dynamics between individual and collective identity, between recognizability and difference.
