The G D Public Poem, Brussels, 1968

''The G D Public Poem, Brussels, 1968' bestaat uit twee panelen; het gaat om digitale afdrukken, die elk drie foto’s tonen van de actie 'The G D Public Poem' (ook 'The God Public Poem' genoemd) uit 1968, waarbij de kunstenaar rondliep in Brussel met de letters 'G' en 'D' aan weerskanten van zijn lichaam; zijn lichaam fungeerde in dit geval als de letter 'O' van 'God'. Onderaan staat over de twee panelen gespreid de handgeschreven tekst: 'The "G D" public poem, Brussels, 1968. After the "Vietnam" political manifesto, this was my first truly "poetic" - political work. With the G of God in my right hand and the d in my left hand - and my persona (with Groucho Marx's moustache and nose) as the zero in the middle. I visited all the taxonomic "sites" of Brussels - religious, art, commerce, work, death - framing each site to illustrate the absence of God - or the City as the new God.' Van dit werk bestaat behalve een Engelse versie ook een Franse. De versie met Frans onderschrift maakt deel uit van de collectie van de Fondazione Bonotto in het Italiaanse Colceresa. Bij de Franse versie is elke foto apart afgedrukt.
