De collage 'Germany, the Land of Music' is een op een mozaïek gelijkende compositie met diverse foto's en fotoreproducties. De titel verwijst naar de affiche 'Germany, the Land of Music' naar ontwerp van Lothar Heinemann uit 1937, waarvan min of meer centraal in de compositie een reproductie is geïntegreerd, met toevoeging van een Jodenster. Behalve portretten van kunstenaars als Andy Warhol en Joseph Beuys heeft Matthys ook reproducties van schilderijen van bv. Goya en Renoir opgekleefd.
